Have you met any people who are obviously insecure?

There is someone in one of my classes who really annoys me. When I first met him all he could talk about was his avid partying. I thought it would just go away after awhile and we'd talk about real things. No, it never did. He recently moved to my hall and all he could talk about was his partying. I mentioned that a couple of us in the hall had been caught too just like he had but then he counters with a "oh but my hall was caught in the first week of school." No matter what you say, he has to top it with his only little crazy antics. Woohoo, you party. Yeah so does everyone on the fucking campus. Now show me someone who COULD party and chooses NOT to and I'll be pleasantly surprised. Not someone who COULD party and DOES.

I could party but choose not to. I rather play computer games or watch stargate XD
Of course I've been at a few wild parties, but after falling a sleep on the floor, you start to think about taking it easy XD Thankfully that party was at home with my brother and his friends and not at some strangers.

I don't really see the fun in partying. It's boring. It's mainly just a bunch of horny 18+ year olds trying to get laid.

I'm obviously insecure, but I'm the more silent type that sits in a corner hiding from everyone XD

I've gone to a lot of parties. Anyone can party. A group of nerds can get a bottle of vodka and it could be a party. I don't understand the need to be like, "OH MY GOD SO I WENT TO THIS AWESOME PARTYYYY AND BLAH BLAH BALH AND YES I GOT MY DICK SUCKED WITH CHAMPAGNE BEING POURED ON MY BALLS"

There is a girl named Miranda in my Conflict Resolution class and she's incredibly shy. It looks like it's painful for her to speak sometimes.

Then why the hell does that guy basically think he's cool for partying. Even up here in Wash everyone knows ASU is the party school.

Exactly, which is why I said that I think it's better if you could party but choose not to, because the temptation to do so is really high here. He thinks it's cool cause he gets caught and whatever. The worst part is that generally that would be interesting and a fun story to tell once in awhile, but it's ALL he talks about.

There's this one kid that asks every kid in my school on where to get drugs. He's terribly nerdy and his only way to fit in (he thinks) is to get some crackshit yo nigga plz. But he doesn't know how to get it. It's really annoying. He once came up to me, having never talked to me before and said this:

Fag: Hey man, can you get me some stuff?
Trees: Stuff?
Fag: Get me hooked, man.
Trees: I don't have any drugs...
Fag: Shhh, lower your voice, yo, I just want to know where I can get some.
Trees: Get the fuck out.

On another related note there was this kid who was shy for every year of his life, and out of nowhere this year he is THE man for EVERYTHING. This shy, introverted kid who never talks suddenly has everything and everyone drops his name like he's the coolest kid in the world. "Yeah bro, DeWitt is the shit man! He got me hooked on some mighty fine grass!"

In AZ I used to smoke out nerdy kids because it was amusing. THERE IS ENTERTAINMENT EVERYWHERE MY MAN

I'm insecure. I don't talk much, not very social. I'm pretty good at sports and video games, but I don't like going all insane over stuff like that. It's fun, but silly. And even if I were highly wanted at a party, I don't want to screw around with drunken high school students acting like idiots, with all due respect for those who do enjoy such things.

That said, yeah, I know what you're talking about. In my Roman society class there's a guy who's always talking before class. There are sixty students in the class, but he talks incredibly loudly and is easily heard over everyone else. Talks about parties, a massive speeding ticket his parents paid off, upcoming games, how he's going to transfer to a different university soon (he actually tried talking with the teacher about the challenges of "transferring" after his undergrad degree, and the teacher just talked to him like he was an idiot), etc, etc, etc. I just focus on my laptop and enjoy my farming.

Parties are so incredibly lame, the only reason why I used to go to them was because I enjoyed people watching. I'm afraid of being around douchy people in college like that.

Yeah I don't party. I don't really think I could honestly unless I wanted to fuck up my life, my parents care to much about what I do and where I am.

I usually just chill with my friends, watch movies, and shit. Good stuff, I don't need drugs yet. Only thing I'll ever try is weed and ofc alcohol when I'm in college.

This boy I know is horribly insecure. He weighs 120lbs and is about 5'10, 5'9. He starves himself, and constantly talks about how many drugs he's doing. Like Akira mentioned, this boy HAS to say something that'll top what you said. It's really annoying. As if I care how much meth you smoked with your brother...

I really fear for this kid's life, due to him starving himself.. other than that, he never has money so I know he's not doing drugs constantly... He's just full of shit when it comes to that topic.

I know a dude who is pretty insecure. He comes from like the Hawaiian ghetto where you fight it out to decide everything. He's in high school and his brother came out of the closet, he's a little bit feminine, sings doesn't play sports, but when anyone talks shit about him (which is common) he can't take it. The only thing that keeps him sane really is a group of friends he met at a work camp that he did with some youth groups.

So one of my class' finals was today. That person I was talking about in the OP is in my class, too. I was hanging out with some of the other people in my class and he comes in and joins the group. The other people say hi, then he immediately starts talking about how he was kicked out of his dorm and stuff. It was awkward. I don't like that guy at all.
