For the past year or so, my friend Charles and I on a whim introduced myself as Taco Vandervelde to a friend of his. Ever since then it has stuck. While some people may not believe it, to all of his friends that I have met they refer to me as Taco. Sometimes when I don't feel like telling someone my name, I introduce myself as Taco Vandervelde. They do not acknowledge at first, but soon they simply give up and refer to me as Taco. Our prank has gone so far that all of us (Charles, me, his brother Will and a few others) have me programmed into their phones as "Taco". There's really no reason for this, but it just kind of stuck. Sometimes it's weird but it's really hilarious sometimes.
Have you guys ever done something that stuck for longer than you thought it would? Maybe not even a prank, but a lie, or a one night stand that you thought only lasted a day but then you realized that you had been having sex for over a year and when you come out of the cave you have a beard and then you talk to someone and then you realize they're a bear and then you realize that you are a bear.

Haha in 6th grade all the people at my table called the table the "Bob Table" (I don't remember why lol) and we all called each other Bob. For one of them, it just stuck. The teachers called him Bob and his parents did for a little bit I think. It still happens (what, 6-7 years later?).

One of my friends introduced himself as Junior to this special ed freshmen, cause he was a junior, so he believed him to this day, the dude is now a junior and still believes my friends name is 'junior' haha.
