Which do you like better?

Personally, I like windows better. But that is my opinion.

Couple days ago I was in my accounting class and I added a dock similar to Mac OSX on my Ubuntu laptop. Some guy sitting next to me asks "So how do you like Windows 7?" So my laptop was all three operating systems at once

I choose Windows because even though their newest Operating Systems (i.e. Seven and Vista) suck major balls, XP is still the best mainstream os ever to be released. It's easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, simple and complex simultaneously, and PCs are much more affordable than Macs.

7 sucks? i think it run great and looks great i like it way better than XP, but i do agree the PCs are just better cause the average person can actually buy one, thos wackbooks are way over priced

Well the reason I think 7 sucks cause they spent like no time whatsoever on it. They just recoded Vista. I don't want a recoded Vista, I want a better operating system. If I wanted a better Vista, I would buy Vista and mod it to work how I want it to.

lol but in my eyes Vista shouldnt have been at all. I would have loved to see an updated version of XP instead.

Agreed. XP is way more reliable but I like the 'feel' of 7 a bit more. Maybe it's because it's closer to OS X, but ehhh, I don't really know. I honestly haven't used 7 enough to say how good it is compared to other operating systems.

I know what you mean. In fact, I skin my XP to look like Vista. I love how Vista looks, just hate the way it "works"

My life has been spent on Windows... since 3.1. And I have spend little time with other OS's. We do own an SGI (old) and a Mac (new) though.

As for looks, tie for Windows 7 and XP. Vista looked cool at first, but I got tired of it after months using it on the school computers.

The ones here at Vienna University all have XP, even if they just changed all of the computers to really new ones.
