Yesterday I found out through the lycos internal search engine that this board may be associated with an administrator called Blis who is a self confessed paedophile. I think that this is something which my fellow members should be aware of.

What the f*** makes you think Blis is a pedophile? I've known him for years and he's a friend of my dads friend. I've never met him in real life but I know he has a wife and two kids. One kid who last time I heard was still trying to eat the catfood XD
So unless you have proof keep your bullshit elsewhere, and what is it that say that someone else didn't pretend to be Blis and added him to that search engine?

If I had known what I know now I would never have joined his board.
My Lycos mail account has an E-mail search facility, it tracks and lists E-mails which come from the same place and it lists that mail from here comes from the same place as mail from Games Community.

I don't see how that would even remotely associate us with them. It's entirely possible that Lycos doesn't sort mail 100% accurately and just lumped us in with them.

Blis stated what he was a while ago and that is why the board went dead. If the post has not been edited it is still on the board somewhere, I am sure that you remember reading it too.
I don't think that he actually is but it was a very stupid thing for him to post which in some way has tarnished my reputation. I am now trying to untarnish my reputation and ease my conscious.

The board went dead because everyone on there stopped playing the game Unreal Tournament. All of the actual community on that board were playing that game together. But the server we played on was shut down due to not so many of us playing on it anymore.

If you know so much about all the posts on Games Community I am 100% sure that you remember when Blis wrote that about himself.
If he was playing around he does not need to be protected by you, it was a sick joke, but if he was being serious we are all affiliated with him and it is our duty to do the right thing.
