I had no idea they were doing one! Apparently it was green lit over the summer. It's also being done by the Japanese so Hollywood isn't going to fuck it up. Here's the trailer:

We'll probably have to wait and see how this turns out. Even though Hollywood will screw over any anime series they make, Japanese studios won't always make great interpretations either... just look at the Death Note live action film.
