Do any of you ever get really depressed? If you do, how do you guys deal with it?

The only time I actually got depressed was when I was in sixth grade (HORMONES OMFG). To be honest, I've gotten down, but not really fully "depressed". But when I do I usually either 1. Listen to happy music (or) 2. Read a book

i was depressed from eighth grade until sophomore year. there were a variety of reasons (aren't there always) so after getting past the self-deprecating cycle that typically occurs i told myself that i didn't have a good enough reason to be so depressed all the time and started to see the bright side of life again. i've gone through numerous smaller depressions since but they're all squashed by my optimism in the future, despite my ever-present pessimistic views of the near future.

Weekends are crappy. I try not to think about the bad stuff and rather I focus on happy things.

I also try to relax regularly so stress doesn't build up. But when it does I like to either go somewhere and think to myself.

Yeah, I've experienced my share of depression, but it never gets too bad. If it ever starts to, I go out n do stuff with friends.

The start of this year was horrible, but toward the end it started looking up. I have no idea how next year's gonna be though.

i never really get stressed or depressed, more of laid back and relaxed types. but thing that always stresses me is arguments, so i try to stay away from them.

That's a really good question, actually. I DON'T know what to do.
Sometimes I just go to the U of A for a long period of time, hang at the library until nine at night then go walk around the campus until really late at night because I don't know what to do.
I think after a while, I just got used to thinking the fact that taking long far walks at night or in the middle of nowhere makes me feel less lonely and depressed.
Even though I know it's "dangerous" or whatever, at least I feel better.
I really don't know what to do though... I wish I did.

:/ you need to find a good outlet then. i mean you know what you like to do so i can't really suggest specifics (first thing to come to my mind would be to write music) but make sure it's something that will take up a lot of time and either express yourself or keep your mind off of it (like video games or something, preferrably multiplayer).

I decided to go to Zantherus. Though I'm not really depressed. Just not been in a good mood all day and it's gotten worse.

broke up with gf and was depressed for a couple months. grade were kinda crappy after it happened

All i can say is I'm the closest to clinically depressed as I've ever been. Loss of appetite, and other things, just wanted to sleep all day.

Overall, I am not a depressive person. However, at times I can be down and feeling out of it.
