Question: For the Seeds and Peers columns there are two numbers.
Example:
Seeds
0 (13)
Peers
1 (113)
What are the meanings of each number?
Example:
Seeds
0 (13)
Peers
1 (113)
What are the meanings of each number?

The numbers in the parentheses are how many people you're connected to and from whom you are downloading the torrent.
Seeds = people who have 100% of the file.
Peers = people who are still downloading.
You may notice, however, as you're downloading, that you have an upload speed. Peers can also upload - the number in the parentheses, therefore, is the total number of people you're downloading from, if you add the two together.

Still confused. I know the meaning of peers and seeds, but not the parentheses and outside parentheses.
For that example:
Seeds
0 (13)
0 = Number of seeders who have downloaded 100%?
(13) = Total seeders including downloaders?
Peers
1 (113)
1 = ?
(113) = Total number of downloaders (who aren't 100% complete)? But then it would seem that the majority of downloaders aren't simultaneously uploading anything, I think, as I've noticed.
For that example:
Seeds
0 (13)
0 = Number of seeders who have downloaded 100%?
(13) = Total seeders including downloaders?
Peers
1 (113)
1 = ?
(113) = Total number of downloaders (who aren't 100% complete)? But then it would seem that the majority of downloaders aren't simultaneously uploading anything, I think, as I've noticed.

I was linking someone to this on facebook and realized there was a post I hadn't answered, so, RESURRECT TIME
Like I said, seeds have 100% of the file, and peers don't. The number in the parenthesis is just the total number of that type. There are 13 seeds for your torrent, and you aren't connected to any of them. There was, however, a peer you were connected to, and he was effectively uploading the torrent you were trying to download. You could be connected to 0 seeds and still download something, but if you don't connect to a seed, you will never finish the torrent.

All right, to make this clear.
Number inside ( # ) is total seeds/peers uploading/downloading the file.
Number outside # ( ) is total seeds/peers you are connected to.

Number outside # ( ) is total seeds/peers you are connected to.
