Believe it or not, Chatterbox and LOL FORUM are different forums for a reason. The intention of splitting these two similar forums is the merit of discussion.

Chatterbox's discussions are intended to consist of topics that merit some sort of actual thoughtful discussion. That's not to say it has to be like The War Room; however, the initial topic (we would hope) contains a complete sentence to a paragraph, and intends to provoke some sort of discussion among the members of our community.

LOL FORUM is meant for the discussions that are light-hearted and may not necessarily provoke a "discussion," but rather, witty replies or IM-like conversations.

For example, a topic about making cookies would belong in Chatterbox, but a topic about eating a cookie at the moment would be in LOL FORUM. A topic about marathoning Lord of the Rings would belong in Chatterbox, but an animated .GIF of Lord of the Rings characters talking about how one walks into Mordor would be in LOL FORUM.

Understand? We hope that this post will help you find out what kind of topic belongs in which forum. Thanks :)

Sometimes I feel so sick at the state of the world I can’t even finish my second apple pie.
